Your top choice for 2015's most coveted Visitors' Choice Awards title: Best Overall Ski Resort goes to one that garnered a lot of attention last season—locally, nationally and on a global scale. Beaver Creek is a private slice of luxury is tucked just far enough away from Colorado's bustling Summit County to make it feel as though the slopes, shopping and world-class dining are exclusively yours while you're "not exactly roughing it" for the day or an extended stay.

Upscale to a fault, this mountain also boasts terrain that steep-seekers crave with no shortage of family-friendly skiing and amenities, sating every skier style and traveler taste in between (and, who are we kidding, piping hot cookies every day)." -On The Snow

But don’t take our word for it, here’s what your fellow skiers are gushing about via the OnTheSnow App’s firsthand comments feature about why they can’t get enough Beaver Creek:

“I ski Beaver Creek several times a year and typically stay for between two to five nights. The skiing is magnificent. The lodging is top notch and the dining options are terrific.”

“Posh but hardly prissy. Steeps, shoots, glades, terrain park and endless coudoroy no more than a lift maybe two away from the base. Lines, rarely if ever! True European village, skating, martinis fireside, fine arts and fine dining or pub crawling all just steps away. Only downside, club goers... go to Vail (just 10 mins away). No crowds but great vibe. Not for those on a tight budget but worth every penny. Simply awesome! Not exactly roughing it says it all. (Best resort overall of Vail and family)”
